For 2011 a child’s/young person’s fare will be £710. As all their fares are covered
by group funds it means we have to raise a lot of money every year. Please consider
making a donation, and remember you can
If we do enough fund raising, next year we could have a drink each!

Our massive thanks and congratulations go to Duncan, our group Nurse and Nick and Kristina Razey who are family members of one of our children.
The end of May 2010 saw the three intrepid walkers stretching their muscles across the north of England to raise sponsorship money for taking children on the HCPT Group 71 trip in 2011. Kristina, Nick and Duncan walked, sometimes very painfully, along the 84 mile route of Hadrian's Wall from Newcastle, in the east, to Bowness-on-Solway, in the west. The route was both beautiful and very testing for most of the way requiring the team to climb across the moors of northern England to achieve its goal. The team encountered great companionship from other walkers and locals alike whilst struggling with the often two or three mile 1 in 2 gradient climbs up and down the fells. The views were amazing and the weather on the whole was kind although temperatures of 32 degrees centigrade and torrential rain were both encountered.
In total £2200 was raised for next years funds which will come in very handy. The team would like to thank all those who helped and supported them in the six day endeavour and enabled them to raise so much cash. Watch this space for the next trip!
