In December a group of helpers went carol singing at Brighton and Eastbourne Railway stations.
The retiring collection from the Christmas Carol service
at St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School in Haywards Heath also went towards the children’s fares. This is especially appropriate as Mother Agnes, the Head of St Joseph’s in the 1950’s helped Michael Strode fundraise to take his very first pilgrimage from Chailey Heritage nearby.

Three intrepid walkers are planning to brave the wilds of Hadrian's Wall to raise cash for future fares.
Kristina, Nicholas and Duncan plan to do the 84 miles over 7 days but have decided not camp because a hot shower at the end of each day sounds like a good idea!
